How to get here from Belgium?

From Brussels or Liège, take the A1 motorway towards Paris, then bypass the capital via the A86/A6 towards Lyon. Near Clermont-Ferrand, take the A75 (toll-free) towards Béziers, then the A61 towards Toulouse and exit at Mirepoix. About 8 hours and 850 km.

Alternative: via Reims, Lyon then Montpellier (A26→A6→A75→A61). This route avoids the Paris ring road and passes through beautiful scenery. Budget about 70 EUR in tolls one way.

You can also take the Thalys/TGV from Brussels to Toulouse (5h30) then hire a car (1h drive remaining). Or fly Brussels-Carcassonne with Ryanair (1h45) and hire a car at the airport (45 min drive).
